Michael Haight of Finatics Accounting Solutions is the Virtual CFO for Padraig and the Finatics Virtual Accounting Team handles the day-to-day transactions for the business.
As VCFO, Michael brings years of financial and accounting expertise to the Padraig team. Michael offers guidance for growing the business, while his specialized team handles the accounting, compliance and risk management.
Michael completed his CGA Designation, which is now known as the CPA Designation, in 2006. He has experience working in a variety of industries, including Agriculture, Food Production, Not-for-Profit (Housing), Government, Transportation and Manufacturing. Michael founded Finatics Accounting Solutions in April of 2018 because he was passionate about using what he’d learned throughout his career to help multiple organizations find success.

In addition to working with Padraig, the Finatics Team works with organizations across Canada in areas such as generating invoices to customers and collecting past-due accounts; processing vendor bills and issuing payments; processing payroll and generating remittances; project tracking to better understand profitability by project or job; management and tracking of inventory; implementation of new accounting software, applications and process improvement; creating customized reporting that encompasses key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics; creating budgets and analyzing management reports; cash-flow analysis and projection analysis.
